Yes there is...and my why is of no importance to anyone but me. I no longer am going to defend the existence of God as its a waste of time here.

Do you believe in the power of Searching the database for this very question?

I'm sure that, if you did, you would have found the gazillion other "Is there a god" or "Do you believe in god" questions out there and that you would have read those instead of adding yours.

But, to answer your question, no I don't believe in god because the idea of a creator being is wrought with fallacy and if one believes in "him" one should also believe in the likes of Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, the Easter bunny and the Lockness Monster (which is more believable than any of the others listed).

yes, because a painting reveals a painter, a building reveals a builder, so creation must reveal a creator, to say otherwise would be foolish and would defy your own intellect and conscience. God has made himself known through His creation externally. He has also made Himself known internally. We have a moral conscience, we have an inner sense of what God requires. The question is, where did this moral conscience come from if it didn't come from an ultimate source outside of ourselves? We obviously didn't inherit it from evolution. You don't see animals setting up a court system and have laws being placed in their society. So, through creation and through the moral conscience, God is evident to all men. Read Romans chapter 1 and 2. It makes it infatically clear, there are no atheists or agnostics.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

If there were not, how did we get here?

sex, sex, sex.

What is the purpose of sex? Procreation, and nature fine tunes this so it is pleasureable.

But the question is, if sex is the reason for the season, why are we not having sex right now? Either we can't, which you have to ask, is that nature's fault or our own? Or we choose not to, which is a product of will.

So natural courses take their effect, but our willing or unwilling interfers with this.

Yes! God proved several times who He is and that He is real. I don't need Him to personally prove to me what He has already proved to so many other people.

No, because there is no proof. Granted religious people will site the Bible as proof, but that is like quoting the Lord of the Rings as proof of the existance of Hobbits.
