You can't be sure and everyone has a different perspective on things so interpretation will be different even if the translation is correct. I personally don't believe that all the scriptures are true - only parts - as much was written by men to control, indoctrinate and frighten the minnions.

When the Dead sea scrolls were found in the 1940s, it was found that they, even though they were centuries older than the oldest copies available prior to that time, were no different to any other manuscript we had, except for spelling and minor grammar differences.
Also, if we accept it as the inspired word of God, then we can be sure that he would protect it from gross mis-translation, persecution and destruction. For instance, there has been a great campagn to hide it from ordinary people since the 2nd or 3rd century, especially in the middle ages, but in our times, it has become availble to the virtually every living human, it is considered one of the top best-selling books of all time. This is perhaps another evidence that God wants as everyone to read it and get tyhe benefit of it.
It is, of course, as with all things to do with God, a matter of faith. However, faith is not blind. It is important to look at what evidence is available and judge for ourselves. Hopefully, you will find the information on this website useful. You can ask to be contacted, or to be sent some literature that will answer your questions.

The 'holy scriptures' are stories which were passed down from generation to generation till someone actually wrote them down.
As we all know from our everyday lives as stories are passed around they alter as people exaggerate the truth and manipulate the storyline in order to serve their own purposes.
Then, of course, with the 'holy scriptures' there is the added problem of translations which can change the meaning entirely.
Just accept reallity. There was a chap called Jesus who tried to make the world a better place during his life time. However, his work has been hijacked by man made institutions who have used his teachings as a means by which to exert authority and control over other less educated individuals.
There is only one truth and that is what has been shown to us by science. All the rest is mumbo jumbo.
Try reading Richard Dawkins' excellent book The God Delusion. It is to the 21st century what the bible was to the dark ages!

On the 20th February 2006 were conveyed the Divine laws, to herald our entry into the Spiritual age. Read them, in "Rational Spirituality" available on the Dhaxem website, and if you understand the concept, you will be sure as well, that there is a God and a purpose in everything that happens. These came directly from the Source.
When it comes to so called holy scriptures, these were interpreted by man, and as such bear his limitations. However, there is a core of truth in all religions, as it stems from people's early relationship with God, the nature, and the planet.

During the early centuries of the Christian religion there was NO Bible, simply a collection of various Gospels, associated writings and philosophical pieces. Alternative versions and interpretations were widespread, and there was no Christian uniformity. With so many disparate groups using different sources, different interpretations, and different rituals, including heretical and Pagan mixtures, something had to be done. A `committee` organised Gods word properly, decided on behalf of God what was right or wrong, and started a belief system, where God had formerly failed. Now we have Christianity, based on God`s word, via many committees, endless deletions, additions, insertions, re-writes, and inventive fiction. Of course it`s true, God wrote it !!!

We can't even be sure they were written correctly, much less translated correctly. But if you read them, something will speak to you. You will find some comfort, or direction meaningful to you. Just remember that it applies to you and don't try to find direction for somebody else in there. They have their own path to walk and you have no idea where they've been. The only time scriptures are wrong is when they're used to pass judgment on somebody else's morals. And who's authority are we trying to usurp when we do that?

All forms of 'religion' have been carried down and translated over the centuries. How can you be sure any of them is a true translation? God's eternal wisdom has been implanted to make sure his people are not lost. Yet, they are still lost for a lack of knowledge. It is such a pity ......

I have faith that God's hand was what first led to the books being written and I believe it was the hand of God that led those who translated the Bible.
If you study and have questions then I would encourage you to do further study into the original languages and conclude for yourself instead of depending on others to make that decision for you.

do you understand the meaning of what the scriptures tell you. if you do, the scriptures haven't been altered that much. the whole point is to learn how god wants us to act toward him and to our fellow mankind, without exception.
modern language is diverse, but yet we still understand what the message is. think like that about the bible.
