i've been emailing this guy over the internet. he asked for my phone number and i gave it but i told him to send me text messages only because i can't accept phone calls at work. but we still kept in touch though. he texted me, then emailed me that same week. friends have been telling me i should ask him out. but i was thinking, if he was interested in my phone number, why hasn't HE asked me out? i don't mind asking him out, but i was just wondering why he's not the one doing the asking?

also lately, he's been emailing less and less and i have a feeling that he's starting to lose interest. what can i do to keep him interested?

i showed interest in him by asking some stuff about him -- like where he works, where he grew up in etc... -- just some harmless questions. but then he told me i asked too much question, so i kinda stopped asking him questions -- just the basic ones like "how are you, how's work" etc. I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT HE WANTS! he's so frustrating! what should i ask him to keep him interested and at the same time not to appear overbearing?

okay, if he is lossing intrest, forget it. You are just gettign to know each other and it's already fading. Best thign to do is to just move on, but if you must go out with him consider that he maybe a bit skeptical on your postion on meeting people that you meet online. Prehaps tell him you ahve meet up with people, or better yet ask him if he has ever meet anyone that he met online. That will make him think to ask you. If that doesnt work then he probably not that intrested in you... then i suppose you can ask him to meet up with you. Over coffee.

He is a better and experienced "Player" than you are. He is the kind of guy who generate interest in someone then throw the ball in other's court. Now its your turn to keep him interested and the only way at the moment is ask him out.
