While it is uncommon to have an "allergic reaction" to anti-anxiety or anti-deppressive meds, it could happen when you take ur first pill or as the meds build up in your system increasing your seratonin level. If you are concerned you are having some type of negative reaction, you should contact your healthcare provider. Generally these meds are most effective with in 2-4 weeks after starting them. Hope this helps.

I had an allergic reaction to Wellbutrin and it didn't happen until I had been taking it for over a week. It took time to build up in my system.
They all (antidepressants)have side effects, that are not necessarily allergic reactions.
Really, we'd need to know what your symptoms were and what you are taking. Could just be a side effect which typically goes away after you've been taking the medications for awhile.
