i use acuvue advanced. ive only had them for about 2 weeks. ive had that dust like partcle problem before, where the particle wont come off and i believe i scratch my cornea, but it has since healed. i cant find anything wrong with this pair, its not ripped, scratched, no particles on it, its not inside out. the only thing is when i take it out it seems to dry very fast, and it is kind crumpled up?

Okay, for one thing, make sure you're not allergic to the solution. That will show up in one eye first, then the other.
Secondly, make sure the contact's not in backwards. When you have it on your finger, it should be in the shape of a bowl, but the outside edges should not be curled outwards. If they are, there's your issue.
If this keeps up, see the eye doctor immediately.

Have you taken it out and rinsed it? How long have you been using this particular contact? I come across that problem every now and then and seems the only true solution is to throw it out and open up a fresh one.

btw...what brand do you use?

edit: I just checked and I have acuvue 2...it's what I've been using the past couple of years and I admit that I have been less than thrilled with the last couple of batches I've had. I've had many individual contacts get like a little knick on the edges which has led to great discomfort. Also 2 weeks ago, I switched out my left one (due to a 'knick') and the one I replaced it gave me nothing but problems from the start...after less than a week (and a couple of days of wearing glasses) I threw it out and got a new one out. And yeah, it seems they do dry out fast, leading to great discomfort.

Take it out and hold it up to the light- can you see little pieces of dust like particles on it that you can't wash off? If you can, do not put it back in, that will scratch your cornea.

It is probably ripped or something is on it thats not supposed to be there If ripped Throw it away But just to make sure it is clean, rinse it.

There's either something on your contact (rinse it)....or there's a tiny rip in it. If it's ripped, you'll have to toss it.
