The Mustang GT is only putting out 300HP not 380. I would pay msrp or less. Wait about a year after all the idiots pay the 20k over MSRP and the ford dealers will be dealing on these cars just as they did with 03 and 04 Cobras.

There's an '07 Shelby GT500 in blue at the Tri-City Ford dealership in Radcliff, KY, sticker is $46,000, but with market value added in, it's selling for $68,000. 500 horsepower, 500 torque at the crank (engine numbers), similar hp/tq ratings to the Corvette with 4 seats and a drop top. The Mustang GT is putting out 300hp at the crank for about $35,000, so if you want the extra hp/tq, it's a deal, but otherwise, too much $ if you ask me.
Edited GT horsepower.

They sticker for around $42,000 to $46,000. The dealers are marking them up about $20,000. And Ford wonders why the can't make a profit. I would not pay the mark-up.

sticker price is mid 40's. selling price should be mid 60's. sell the sizzle, not the steak, and you will make your dealer a nice profit. i sold one considerably over the sticker price, but only got paid on MSRP. guess the GM needed a vacation...
