I don't think he really found the bones of Jesus. Yes, I'll tell you up front I am a Christian. My faith is strong enough that I'm not afraid to test it so I look at these "discoveries" and try to be open minded. I haven't seen the documentary yet. However the discussions by both Christian and secular experts lean very heavy toward a common belief that this is "junk" science. It is the same with the DeVinci code if you study each "fact?" Also the term "rapture" refers to a time when ALL Christians will be taken from the earth, changed from a physical form to a spiritual form in the twinkling of an eye. I'm not sure what you mean when you say people "rapture".

First of all, James Cameron has NOT found the bones of Jesus Christ. There are no bones to find. Jesus Christ was resurrected and sits at the right had of God. Second, the movie James Cameron has made depicts a find that was made several years ago and was repudiated as false by experts at that time. Mr. Cameron may only be relying on people's short memory to now try to create a controversy where none exists and to cash in on peoples confusion.

He and his producer declare that with the aid of DNA finding out and biblical examine, that those coffins belong to Jesus and his relatives. he's keeping a press convention the following day.

First, I don't think it is his bones. He was resurrected, which means there is no bones to find. Second, they probably reused the tombs that they laid him in. Third, they never marked the tomb as being his because he died on a friday, was taken to Pilot that day and His body wasn't released to His disciples until Saturday. They didn't have time to carve his name in the tomb. They didn't do work on Saturday, so He wouldn't have even been annointed until Sunday. That's what the women were going to the tomb for. But as we know the story, He wasn't in the tomb when they got there. So it would stand to reason that it isn't his bones in the tomb.

And anyways, how would these people know it really was His tomb?? Did they have His DNA before hand, so they could tell for sure if it was him?? I think not!! So there really is no way to tell if it was Him or not. And even if it was a family tomb, He had brothers and sisters, so it could be their family's tomb. Not Christs. Think about it.

Mr Cameron is a very deluded man to even think what he is stating is true....Christians can thank him for one thing though.. for digging up these bones and making Jesus Christ headline news once again. He have given us another springboard for the gospel.....I have no doubt that what he is sharing is a lie...I serve an awesome resurrected God and he is not lying in a grave but sits at the right hand of the Father......Mr Cameron will one day see that for himself....

James Cameron DISCOVERED some jazz that was on the shelf for some years.

Only he is going to make BIG DOLLARS out of this "no find" .

AMAZING how may people confuse movies with real life.

Even get Theological thinking from The Simpsons!

YUK!

Cameron didn't find anthing except some artifacts removed 20 years earlier from some old unidentified tomb. And turned them into a cheap publicity stunt.

Everyone seems to be trying to cash in off the religion craze...I prefer having just Tele-Evangelist trying to fleece me, at least I would recognize the skunks when I see em.

At least Lucas and Spielberg did not try to pass their movie off as non-fiction.
