This is the Best Question,I have seen>Any thing Radio ,Rock Concert,Church Music over 80 Decibles,You will have Hearing Loss. There are Hearing Head Sets-Ear Plugs to use.I have never found any that had a N.R.R".Noise Reduction Rating" any better than 30.The other thing is when you lose Hearing as related to Noise,You will have constant Ringing or other sounds
No Remedy.I worked on Jet Air craft That produce about 140 Decibles.I have these sounds< Believe me,You don"t want it.
So if the Church you attend thinks Loud is Spirtual ,They are damaging Little Children Ears.I think the Generation comming on now will be Deaf at 30 yrs age.In Iraq ,Just a guess on my part,80 % have no Hearing,I would by all stock I could in Hearing
aid Companys.Yes the post above is correct,One Concert can do permanent Damage.

I was in a rock band for years. We weren't all that loud, but loud enough to leave a ringing in my ears after a job. I stood stage left of the rest of the band, Now i have about a 40% reduction in the high end tones in my right ear. Get earplugs, if you're going to a loud concert. The sound in front of the band is much louder than the sound on stage, so the hearing loss will be much worse.

And yes, if the band is extremely loud you may have some degree of permanent loss after just one concert.
