It's possible that your dog may have just come into contact with a red vehicle that was too loud or scary and it just upset it somehow and it may associate all red vehicles as bad. It's also possible that maybe it came in contact with a person who drives a red car and maybe the person left a bad impression on the dog, and the dog thinks each red vehicle may have that person in it so it wants revenge. I've had dogs do those types of things. The dogs I have now go nuts and chase certain vehicles that go down my road and pay no mind whatsoever to most others.

Are you sure its only red? Maybe just fords, or spinning hubcaps, or 6 cylinders, i will set up an observational post tomorrow. should take millions of government dollars and loads of time, energy, and pop-tarts. Will get back to you in awhile.
