God does rest, like He did on the seventh day of creation. When He does, nothing really happens. It doesn't mean the earth stops, and we all die. However, even when He is resting, He still hears our prayers.

God doesn't "rest" in the sense that we do. The Bible just uses that figure of speech to mean that God stopped creating after the initial creation of the universe was complete.

Around here, on god's supposed day of rest, most people gather in big ugly buildings to hear stupid speeches and bad music, sung very loudly.

Apparently god has a high opinion of those who indulge in these activities.

Exactly the same thing as when he is at work. Although nobody notices for some don't believe in God, and others are too busy fighting over religion and conversion to trully remember him.

God doesnt rest silly. He is omniprescent so He is everywhere all the time. Involved in the believers lives. Amen and Peace out.........
