Interesting replies so far. Excuse my misspelling og buddhism!!
But, while so many believe in ONE god! Does that mean that ALL of you believe that GOD and ALLAH are one and the same?
What about the greek and roman gods?

I don't believe that there is one god. I also don't believe that 'gods' are omnipotent and capable of intervening. I believe that there are beings regardless of what you believe who can show you a path but you are the one who chooses your actions. I guess I believe that there is a greater force made up of many beings.

I’ve read most of the Nag Hammadi Library, which are the Gnostic texts. The Gnostics were Samaritans, Jews and Christians. One of the book know as “The origins of the World” gives a whole different twist on the “creation”. It claims that the “Creator God” is an imperfect demon, and that the “True God” Is infinitely above our awareness.

How many times a day do we have to see this same question over and over and over.
There is one God.
Nobody knows his name outside of "I AM"
(there are those who like to believe they do)
He has 72 names.
There is so much crap going on in the world because there are so many godless people in the world.
I've read quite a few religious books.
I have found God.
Tossing up Mythological Gods is making what kind of point?
Myths are religions in which no one any longer believes.

There is only one God. There are 3 persons in one God; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God does not cause hatred, misery, intolerance, racism, anger, and bloodshed, we do.
God bless,

There is only one true God, the "Alpha and the Omega" or the beginning and the end. I have tried to find God and have found Him. I experienced a change in my life, the way I thought about things, the ways I acted, my concern for others, my spirit and everything about me changed when I found God. He was right beside me all the time and all I had to do was reach out for Him and ask Him to make the change in me and He did do it. I am so much fuller and happier in my life now. God will do the same for you if you ask Him to. Why don't you just ask Him?

Psalm 83:18 - God's name is Jehovah
1 John 5:19 - The wicked one rules over the world (Satan)
Satan rules (temporarily) over the world, so there is evil in the world.
Jehovah is God's name. The only God. I have read pieces of the koran, and read about buddhists and the different religions under that category.

I believe in YHWH (translated Jehovah in the original King James). He is the only real God but people make gods of many other things and people. Probably the most common other god is "self".

personally I believe in "god",and that all religions that lead a person to improve themselves, there community, etc. are all from the same source.
I geuss I'm saying there is one god and different people's and religions have different names for god and aspects of gods(polytheism) and different ways of expressing there beleifs. but I think the core values are cross cultural and represent a universal beleif.

I believe in one god which transcends all human perceptions and names of Him.
By the way, it's Buddhism, not 'Bhuddism'.

first of all i belive in God (am religious). there is only one God and that is Allah(Arabic word for God but with more meaning because God this days can be used to play). There is God and he is ever hearing ever seeing, you should get a copy of the holy quran for it is a miracle, it is a holy book sent to man from God passed to us by Prophet Muhhamed (S.A.W) In it you shall find ansewrs to everything, it is a way of life, it is a guid from God to people on how to live life on earth for there is a day of Judgement that everyone accounts for there behavior on earth. so many people cant be bothered about God these days because they seem to be comfortable the have food shelter and what so ever. have you ever sat down to think about who provided the shelter food and protection? life is a test, just like God tested adam and eve. God created man (Adam and Eve) and he put them in heaven, and the angels asked God why he created human when they will do evil, and God gave Adam knowledge, he askes him every question in front of the angels and he ansewrd correctly so God asked them to bow for him and they all did except for satan(who was an angel then) he refused to bow to them and he was removed from the angels, so when God put adam and eve in paradise he told them to eat everyting from the garden except the forbidin fruit. they obayed untill satan came to tempt them to eat from the forbiden fruit(because of jelosy) so God decided to make heaven and earth, he created people(you and i) and sent down the holy book, which we should obey to test who will belive and trust in him, and do as he says in the holy book so that when he calls everyone back thoes who deed good shall recieve their reward, and thoes who followed satan shall recive there punishment. i have so much to tell you about religion if you want to know here is my email add, i will help you to find God in your life .....saffiyyahy@yahoo.co.uk.
