im about to move and i think it's rat around the area . will my dog keep them away?

No. I have hens & from time to time I get rats. My 6 dogs sit & watch the hens in their run.The rats get so used to the dogs that they steal the hen food even though the dogs are only inches away. Ive even seen them run across the garden infront of the dogs. Your dog won't get a disease from rats as long as it is fully vaccinatied.

I would think so. but why would you want to move some where that you know has rats?

ya he will but I don't think it would be too healthy for him since rats carry a lot of diseases

No, your dog might get bitten and get a disease. I wouldn't move there if I were you.

get a terrier or a hound breed, they love to catch thoses things
