120 is a good ideal weight, because I'm 15, 5'7, and 120 and I'm happy with my body, but I'm not too skinny. But start small! First, set a goal to lose 5 pounds, and reward yourself after that, and then go for 10, then 15, then another 15. Don't make one huge goal to lose 45 pounds. Run for about an hour each day, which should get about 3 or 4 miles. I make myself a routine and run for 5 minutes, walk for 2, run for 5, etc.. it's a lot easier that way and before you know it, you'll be done. As for the pilate's ball, you can do crunches and push ups on those. The position is kind of self explanitory. If the ball isn't too big, you can also put it in between your legs and lift up your legs perpendicular to your stomach while lying on your back, but that's HARD, I can't even do it, haha. Swimming is good, swim everyday in the summer. Just go back and forth in your pool 100-200 times each day, give or take, because it depends on how big your pool is. I'm on the swim team at my school and I lost weight from it, plus it's so fun! As for healthy snacks, rice cakes are really good with peanut butter or plain, and DON'T FORGET TO EAT BREAKFAST! Breakfast boosts your metabolism up in the morning so you burn more calories throughout the day. If there's any meal to skip, it's definitely not breakfast! Good breakfasts are bagels with low fat cream cheese, coffee to drink with splenda or low cal sugar and cream, or good old toast and butter. It's also said that eating grapefruit every day for breakfast makes you lose weight. Grapefruit is really good with a little bit of sugar sprinkled over the top. For lunch, any sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, or whatever you want on whole wheat bread is good, though I can't be talking because I hate veggies, haha. Salad, etc, you get the jist. For dinner, turkey or chicken is really good with veggies and some kind of starch on the side. Try to stay away from red meat. If you're an 8 PM ice cream eater like I am, have frozen yogurt instead of ice cream. I actually think the yogurt tastes better, and it's better for you. Have fruit in between your meals, or rice cakes like I stated above. Good luck with your diet, I really hope you reach your goal!

Yes, I would say you could be overweight. Check your BMI to know for sure, and also check to see how healthy your goal of weighing 120 pounds is, because it may not be realistic.
The equipment you have is probably enough, besure to focus on cardio.
You should start by running 2 miles a day for the first week, and add another mile each week until you're up to 5 or 6 (it seems hard, but i've done it). Then you can work on your speed, or even go longer distances for your endurance. This is the best way to lose fat, and as soon as you can, you should add swimming laps for a half hour each day. With your weights you should do arm exercises (look online to find some great ones), you can do lunges/squats for your legs, and crunches stuff for your abs. Be sure to include this strength training if you're serious about losing weight.
Now, for food. This is the most important and hardest part. To lose one pound you need to burn off 3500 calories. So if you create a deficit of 500 calories per day, meaning you get 500 calories less than what you'd need to maintain your weight, you lose one pound. When I was trying to lose weight, the best thing I did was write down every single thing that I ate. This way, I was honest with my self and could see my progress. Use www.fitday.com , its free, and helped me lose 25 pounds!
Good Luck!
