Do you still believe that God created our planet in 7 Days? Do you also believe that Adam and Eve are just as charactes and not just abstract representations? Do you also believe that extrasolar simple life is evident in other parts of our universe?

Why do you believe that there is God if we have all evolved from other subhumans in the homoid ancestry tree? Don't you people understand that the Biblical explanation just compensated for the times? What about the fact that homosexuality is in fact biological and not a pyschological condition? What is it that you can accept between the changing society and today's interpretation of the Bible?

Well I can justify it from what the Bible says. I dont believe the Bible because it says its the word of God. I dont believe the Bible because it explains much science. Yes it does if you read it. I believe it because of what it said God can and will do for me. He has given me joy a reason to live. I use to think Im here just living to die. The Bible has given me so much joy I cant believe it. And such it states the joy I will have in the Lord I believe the rest. And I do have to add to your homosexuality statement. Its a choice proven over and over again. Here are two of the litmus tests. One being if it was not chosen then twins would both be homosexuals. Two many men and women who have failed marriages have turned gay. No dont say its because they were gay before. If so they would not have remained married for over 30 years many of them. Read the Bible as the word of God not a novel pray while reading it and you will see it as never before and only a believer can. Amen and Peace out...........

Edit: Nunoyvgvn Awi. Thanks for your support. Every chemical found in dirt is found in humans. Thats because if you read how God created man he created him from the earth and breathed life into him. Thanks for the ammo for Christians argument. Peace out once again.............

You are asking so many things in one question and they all need long explanations. The Reader's Digest version is, I am a born again Christian, no I don't believe God made the world in 7 days. Peter said that a day to the Lord is as a 1,000 yrs. I believe He created everything but some things through processes over time like evolutionary processes.

I believe that God wrote Genesis simple so that man back then before science could understand it. I believe the bible coincides perfectly with science, the fossil evidence and evolution. In fact it answers some tough questions for us like Where did Cain's wife come from.

I try never to judge homosexuals. I leave that to God.

As far as the bible and our changing society, our country (USA) was founded on God. That is the only reason we became such a great and rich nation. But now we are trying to push God out of it and sin is rampat everywhere. God is not going to continue to bless our nation if we continue like this. These are my opinions.

The world, or people, may change and the standards and beliefs they have may change, our understanding of the earth may change and science is always learning new things, BUT, God does not change and his standards do not change either. The world and people are imperfect due to inherited sin from Adam and our thinking is imperfect as well. Our earth is millions of years old, God's days of creation were not 24 hour days as we know. Adam and Eve are real, the Bible is truth, Jehovah God does exist and people are going to learn that all to well very soon, the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God and the wise are going to find that out as well, God's standard show that homosexuality is wrong and that even some early Christians once were homosexuals but changed. You can spout off all you want about the Bible being wrong and that there is no God and we evolved, BUT, you Will be called to account for your error as well. Science and the Bible agree, people who do not believe in God, don't.

It is called the "theory of evolution" and the "big bang theory". Please look up the word theory in the dictionary.

Why do you believe in the theory of evolution? Is it because you understand it? Is it because you are afraid of being called backwards and uneducated and ridiculed?

Cells consist of many biological elements that are enclosed in a cell membrane that allows certain molecules to pass out of it and let others in. It must be able to perform many functions: self-replicate, maintain itself by the construction of new proteins, regulate it's functions, etc.

Cells are tremendously complex and more complicated than any machine man has ever built. Even the smallest bacterial cell has 100 proteins, DNA, RNA, and contains one hundred billion atoms.

The simplest cells are not more primitive than, or ancestral of, larger ones. This poses an immediate problem. How do you get all the complicated machinery to work at the same time? It either all works or nothing works. For example, the information to construct the apparatus to synthesize proteins is stored in the DNA. But the extraction of this information requires the apparatus to be in place already (Denton 1985, 269).

To explain the evolution of the cell requires imagining simpler "proto-cells". One such idea by Francis Crick (Denton 1985, 265) uses a proto-cell that is allowed to make mistakes in protein formation (termed "statistical proteins") to create new systems. This is challenged by the knowledge that even small errors cause devastating biological consequences.

In short, explaining the origin of life is a big problem for evolutionists. It is such a problem that mainstream scientific literature even considers the possibility of life dropping in from outer space, called the theory of "panspermia" (Scientific American, Feb 1992). But even this only moves to problem one step outward.

I am not sure about the 7 days thing but i do believe that evolution is a theory not fact. evolution doesnt explain, at least for me, why there are sooooo many species of animals and varieties of life.

the 1st law of thermodynamics states that matter does not expend any more energy than is necessary for its function.

the 2nd law states that EVERYTHING will naturally degrade from a state of order to disorder.

now that is CONTRARY to evolution. to evolve is certainly, NOT to degrade, AND is a waste of energy. just some contradictions that need to be explained by the so called illuminated. please, please, let us dumb Christians know.

and while ur at it how bout this one. if life must evolve in order to save the species from extinction as has been presented in Darwinism, why do the previous forms of life still exist. I guess the change wasnt that necessary after all now was it. it wouldnt change just to get better unless necessary, remember that 1st law of thermodynamics. and:

IF I AM A MOUSE, and i am RUNNING OUT OF FOOD, and i can NO LONGER PROTECT MYSELF as a mouse...I DO NOT HAVE A GAZILLION YRS to evolve. I have the winter. thats it. I will not sprout wings and become a bat in time to survive given the time it takes to evolve. THAT IS WHY ANIMALS GO EXTINCT EVERY DAY NOW. ever think about that...lololol why dont they jst EVOLVE??? thats because u can ADAPT but not evolve.

btw, when is that pinky toe of ours gonna fall off like they keep promising.

u put ur faith in a theory, just like we have a faith so dont be condescending.

and if there wsa a big bang, well - uh - where or where did that matter come from???? YOu ABSOLUTELY HAVE to be able to answer that if you want to LAUGH at the idea that God did it.

no reason to trash each other, we're all just trying to make it thru, ya know.

later

I'm justified by God and not by the changing world. Let God be true and every man a liar. That is Faith and Trust in God. Science has a long way to go to catch up with the Bible - so keep going.

For me the Bible is a wonderful book. It tracks the way of communicating from generations in the past to generations in the future. Before the traditions were communicated verbally.
Science and Bible are 2 different ways to understand our world. At the end each person is free to adopt the way that goes better with them. Get the best of the Bible (values) and the best of science and you will be happier :)
God for me is the representation of our wish to understand who we are and what will be of us in the future.
The Bible was never a source of education, it was communication. Something that the people was telling to the others. It is easier to get... education is more complex.

There's not enough evidence for the theory of evolution. I don't have enough faith to believe that life came from non life.
Darwin didn't have DNA to show how we pass on life.
Even the scientist named David Deamer who came up with the warm soup theory has recanted his views. It was a theory that said our life all started with this warm soup. I saw him interviewed and he has now said, It can't be so. Mainly because of DNA.
He even wrote college text books. I wonder if he gave all the money for the books back-lol

I believe in God. But whenever the Bible and science or modern morality clas, I will always choose the latter. The Bible was written by men. I do not believe in any of the things you mentioned (planet being created in 7 days, homosexuality as sin). This doesn't mean I'm not a believer.

Because without faith it is impossible to please God. And frankly, I'd rather be on God's side then men's side.

Men multiply from the one God created.
Genesis 1:27-28
So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

Why do you need our approval to justify your wordly point of view? I believe in God just as I see the sun rises up from the east and as I know there's air to breath without me seeing it.

Since you have not experienced God, you can't fathom Him. And you cannot tell those who had personal relationship with God to follow your way or believe in what you find, your theory, or whatever else you come up with.

I will only honor God.
