The best thing to do is consult an eye doctor about this. Let them decide which would be best method to use to correct a child's eye. My youngest sister and one of my great nieces has "lazy" left eyes. My sister had surgery on hers to correct it when she was 3 or 4. My great niece wears glasses and she's 2. It can be done, but the doctor should be the one supervising it. I'm mom to 3.

Glasses are best for little children. Then your childs eyes can get better. Laser surgery cannot be done on a child because of the fact of the child is still growing.Try glasses their eyes will get healed and glasses are pain free!!

i'm 13 and i wear glasses. right now my vision is getting worse. but my doctor said that there is a good chance that it will improve by the time i'm 18. before that happens though, i want to get contacts :)
family friends have also told me that this might happen. so don't worry.

glasses worked for my son. he's nine and has been wearing them since age three and his vision has improved. they also worked on his amblyopia. it's completely gone. we asked about sugery but his dr said not until about 18-20 yrs old.
p.s. - at this age, it's best to seek out a good pediatric opthamologist.

If it is just one eye, sometimes patching the "good" eye will make the bad one stronger
