She must not be your best friend or you wouldn't have stooped that low. And sorry, things like that don't just "happen". You had the free will to say no to him and didn't. Take responsibility for your actions and tell her the truth. She deserves that much respect from you. And forget about not trying to hurt her, you've already done that.

I'm so tired of seeing these types of questions and people always say, it just happened. Things never just happen, you made a decision to sleep with this man, and you didn't stop to think of the consequences or you didn't care.
Now that you've hurt your friend and probably destroyed the friendship, you should come clean. She needs to know who her boyfriend and so-called friend are all about. There is no way to tell her without her being hurt.

You can't avoid hurting her, but you have to tell her. You will probably lose her and she will likely blame you for the whole thing, but she has the right to know. By the way, don't tell her "It just happened". You didn't just fall into bed with him. You made a conscious decision. Tell her the truth. Leave out the details, and apologize. The ball is in her court after that.

I don't see how you can tell her and not lose her friendship. If I was her, I'd cut ties with both of you.
How can you do such a horrible thing to your friend? Yeah, the guy's a sleeze too, but man.... [shakes head]
I'd avoid telling her in person, just so she doesn't hit you. Call her up and drop the bad news. Be ready for the crying, string of vulgar names, and the emptiness that will follow.

Oh youve hurt her she just doesnt know it yet.
These things don't just happen. But if your gonna tell her make sure your not in the same State as her. I don't think there is gonna be any easy way for you to tell her, but it will need to come from you first before it does anyone else. I do hope your friendship is strong enough to handle this sorta pain.

well when you tel her she is not going to be your best freind and if he tells her he is going to make you look like the bad guy but when you tell her treat her to a big suprise. remind her of the good times that youve shared together. then you ease it on her with the question on what would happen if that happened would she still see you as a friend. then you tell her but in telling her dont make him seem as the bad guy but if he is spill all. make sure she is haveing a good day before you tell her. joke around with her to just have her laughing good luck sweetie

Nothing ever "just happens". And she might try to kill you if you tell her that. (I know I would)
If it's only going to happen once, don't tell her. You would only be doing that for selfish reasons.
If you really want to do the right thing, don't tell your friend and just fade out of her life. She doesn't need shitty people around her. And eventually she'll figure out her man isn't anything but a little boy.

second,you are envious and jealous on her,i don't know why but you are.
