I'd rather have a girl who is isn't the best looking but who cares about me. Looks fade with age, and if a woman is that vain, I don't want anything to do with her. I have met a few like that in my time.

When you get older you find out that the looks begin to go downhill very fast. No amount of exercise or makeup will hide that fact for guys or girls. You learn to love each other for who they are inside and not so much outside. Every person has a beauty that may not necessarily be visible to the naked eye, but can be seen through your heart. A caring, loving, compassionate, average looking girl is priceless compared to a girl that only has vanity as her best feature.

I would much rather have a girl with so-so looks and a great personality, who thinks the world of me, than some vain, stuck-up, beauty queen who only cares about herself.

Wisdom, health, and love are the most important things to look for in a mate; however love could/will trump the other two. It takes time to develop a great relationship that will last and looks will fade long before wisdom and health, but love can see you through the many difficulties that will come. ~

I would want a girl that cares about me. It doesn't matter what's on the outside, it's worth less just like the points on Whose Line Is It Anyway. It's what's inside that counts.

If I was looking I would look for an average intelligent person who has a good personality. I'm not into the hot stuck on themslelf types.

Hmmm.... for a long term relationship then the less hot girl with a brain that can carry on a conversation. During the college years, definitely the hot, "clueless wonder".

Having someone who you can trust and depend on is important to me. Someone who is more concerned with us than she is about her lipstick being on right. I've always preferred someone with more substance than that. By the way, I have the best of both worlds. my wife is gorgeous and loyal, caring and commited to our relationship. Lucky me!
