this guy has asked me out on a date for a few times but I havent given him an answer yet...and he told me that im somekind of high maintenance girl. what does he mean by that?

I take it to mean a few different things. One, it means that in order to "court" you, it takes more than simply asking you out, maybe you need to be humored, given flowers, another needs to prove himself before you accept, Two: That you are not a cheap date sort of girl, you expect to be treated with respect and nice meals, places to go and so forth. Three; In order for a guy to maintain a relationship with you, it is not simply, go out and then stay in a locked room somewhere, in other words, he succeeded, now he can just do nothing, he would have to constantly be on the ball, keep you happy and look out for your needs and desires.

It depends, you could be high maintenance on the dating end where he thinks you need alot of attention. Or it could be on the materialistic end where he thinks you need alot of monetary things in life. (Nails, clothes, hair etc.). Without knowing you at all, I can't tell ya exactly where he's coming from. But if he's asked you out a few times and he hasn't gotten an answer, it could be he thinks you need alot of attention before you'll go out with him.

It means you take a lot of work and it's something to be very proud of. No guy seriously likes a woman who is cheap and easy and he doesn't think you are that. Men still like to chase a woman. Kind of like he chases you until you catch him. LOL Good Luck and God Bless

He means you expect to taken to nice places that cost more money than he has. You are in need of lots of emotional help and hand holding. You require lots of time and energy just to maintain a relationship.

It means you take pride in your appearance. Getting your hair and nails done nice clothes nice car and home. you like the best.!! thats my interpretation and being as though he has only asked you out. He is obviously going on appearances!!

I think it means Ur deserve the best. Like the best restaurants, clothes, gifts. Things that are really nice nothing cheap

i think when guys say this, it can only mean 2 things.
1. either you spend a lot of effort on looks...
2. or you're pretty demanding..like he needs to spend a higher than average amount of effort just to please you.
