The only thing that will stop the civil war in Iraq is a dictator powerful enough to take control - like Saddam....Al Qaida certainly has that. Our troops can't do it, neither can Bush the Goofy...

Once our troops are withdrawn, after much murder and terror, some entity will rise to the top with blood on their hands and take control. That is what Saddam did...

I have not heard of any Al Qaida officials or unofficials running for any political office anywhere. What are you actually asking?

If that is true, oh well, that is how Democracy works. If the Majority want Sheik Play on the drum all day, that is their choice. We can install another leader there, we seem to be good at that also.
