Yeah there are actually clinics that pay you around 60 pounds to give blood. Pretty popular with broke students apparently!

I thought the idea was you gave blood for free.

There may be some research projects running from hospitals where payment is made. You would need to ring up and speak to individual hospital administrators.

Blood donations in general in UK are given altruistically, without any payment, bar a cup of tea and a biscuit and the good feeling you get when you do something for your fellow man, without reward.

No payment for blood donation I'm afraid.

If you are skint then try donating sperm. There is a national shortage due to the child now having the right to know the name of the donor.

lindz is right there is nowhere in Britain where you will get paid for giving blood if you needed it you wouldn't expect to have to pay for it so don't be so mean give for free

The whole idea is we give for free.

Just remember you may one day need a blood transfusion to save your life. Think about it.

u could try a hostiptal bar or club in town on a saturday nite they always run out lol.
