Dance with My Father Again by Luther Vandross. It's a beautiful song. Best wishes for your wedding and I'm sure you'll have a lovely tribute to your dad.

I'm thinking you mean what song should you play at the funeral?
It's difficult to say what song you should play at someones funeral without knowing the person at all.
There are many songs common to funerals but I'm wondering, is there a song that your father seemed to really like? Or a song that describes him or some aspect of who he is?
That would be a good place to start.
Good luck, and I'm very sorry for your loss.

There could be no better tribute to the life
of your father than "My Way" by Frank
Sinatra, not the Elvis version which is
okay for other times less classic.

Do you mean as a tribute to your dad?? If so, Daddys hands would be a great song.

If you could see me now is a great song. Here are the lyrics..
Our prayers have all been answered;
I’ve finally arrived;
The healing that had been delayed;
Has now been realized.
No one’s in a hurry;
There’s no schedule to keep;
We’re all enjoying Jesus;
Just sitting at His feet.
If you could see me now;
I’m walking streets of gold.
If you could see me now;
I’m standing tall and whole.
If you could see me now;
You’d know I’d seen His face.
If you could see me now,
You’d know the pain’s erased.
You wouldn’t want me to
ever leave this place.
If you could only see me now.
My light and temporary trials;
Have worked out for my good.
To know it brought Him glory;
When I misunderstood.
Though we’ve had our sorrows;
They can never compare;
What Jesus has in store for us;
No language can share.
(Repeat Chorus one time)
If you could see me now;
I’m walking streets of gold.
If you could see me now;
I’m standing tall and whole.
If you could see me now;
You’d know I’d seen His face.
If you could see me now,
You’d know the pain’s erased.
If you could see me now;
I’m walking streets of gold.
If you could see me now;
I’m standing tall and whole.
If you could see me now;
You’d know I’d seen His face.
If you could see me now,
You’d know the pain’s erased.
You wouldn’t want me to ever leave
this perfect place.
If you could only see me now.
If you could see me now.
If you could only see me now.
The accompaniment is available I think at Christianbook.com.
The personthat would sing this song should have quite a range. It is a very powerful song.
