I have a met a girl and we are getting to know each other. She just bought her first house and I would like to get her a house warming gift; nothing too serious but something nice that says I care and have think highly of her. Any ideas?

In the rare event where a man wants to focus on one woman and actually wants to keep dating that woman to the exclusion of all others - better to avoid ANY gifts - because it will risk the man being tagged a caring "nice guy" - which is generally the kiss of death as far as the chick is concerned
The exception would be if the lady suspects, believes, or knows you desire to see other chicks -then such gifts do little harm - then perhaps a cheap bottle of wine might be OK

Will she appreciate a good wine? Maybe something just a bit more expensive than she'd buy for her self. A really great looking house plant is a nice thing to do. I just saw some wonderful orchid plants at the flower shop in my supermarket for about $35.00 One of them would knock my socks off. Only a very classy and sophisticated man would buy one of them for a woman. If you want to spend a bit more have it put into a nicer pot Good Luck and God Bless

A nice Martini or Margarita set if she drinks. If not a beautiful fruit bowl, filled with exotic fruits. Those would both be lovely, and who knows you might be sharing a margo or feeding her a mango before the night is over.

If you know her style, you might get her a vase to her taste filled with nice flowers. :D Or you could get her something silly and cute, like a pink spatula or even a horseshoe to hang over her door to mean good luck. It depends on her sense of humor.

Get some plants and flowers to plant outside & let her know that you'd be more than happy to help with the landscaping. (find out what kind of flowers & plants she likes first).

nowday gift cards are the rage, so pick a real nice store that has home items and give her a gift card,that way you cant lose because she picks what she wants, and then everytime she sees it- it will remind her of what a great gift & think of you....
