God made a covenant with Abraham that he would be the father of many nations who would belong to God. This is the covenant that the Jews were under. When the Jews rejected Christ, God opened the door for the Gentiles to become children of God. We are grafted into the promise. Romans 11 tells how God is grafting us into the promises He made to Abraham. Being grafted into the vine of God makes us also children of God and also His chosen ones. One day they Jews will realize that they have been missing the mark in regards to Christ, and then they will turn and accept Him as their Messiah. God will send 144,000 witnesses to the nation of Israel for the sole purpose of reconciling Israel back to Him.

They were?, past tense of course, they were chosen to begin what was suppose to be the glory of the Son, but it didn't work, Christianity was Jesus way to call the Fathers attention and ask God, to forgive then because they didn't know what they were doing.? that was then and this is now, despite of which there is a lot of peoples that don't which to know the true about God plans. To which religion and Christian religion was for the Jew's to work their own salvation, but steal many can not see how?, I do and I will continue been a Christian and best of all to my knowledge Catholic, to keep an open mind, in all sources of religion because the denial of the Jew's, will make it even more difficult to understand the motives why Jesus need it to die. All because of the Jew's, and their tradition to expect wealth from God, and the Lord Jesus, as well than for everyone else, I don't know why they steal believed to be the chosen ones, to me that is in the pass, and I think the chosen ones are the ones to be Humans, which is the one and only race HIM(God), create.? <

Despite the fact they rejected Him, the Jews are still the chosen people. We were "grafted", adopted if you will, into the family via the following scripture.
Acts 10:9-28 is one.
Clearer examples are:
Acts chapter 13
46 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.
47 "For so the Lord has commanded us:
'I have set you as a light to the Gentiles,
That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.'"
Romans 10:12
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
See Ephesians chapter 2 as well.

Christians and Jews both believe in the God of the Old Testament. However, some Jews do not believe in Jesus. They believe their Messiah is still to come. There are many Christian Jews.
The Christians are the Bride of Christ or His church. Apostle Paul a Jew, and a Pharisee and a Christian said that a partial hardening of the heart has happened to the Jews until the last Gentile is saved. We are in the Gentile era now, but soon you will see God step in for His people Israel. The Gentiles have not replaced Israel and the Jewish people. A remnant has been saved by God for the latter days when all Israel will be saved. God has never forgotten Israel, but because of their disbelief and disobedience God has let them be punished. God calls Israel and Jerusalem His land and He will stand up for His namesake.

1. Replacement theory people will tell you that Xtians are the new chosen people. But G-d said in the Torah that no letter of the law shall be changed--nothing changes. The Jews are still G-d's chosen people. Whoever says differently is going against the word of G-d itself. G-d loves all people. "Chosen" people does not refer to a people G-d loves more than others, who gets their prayers granted more than others. The reason for being Chosen in the Torah is that G-d actually offerred the Torah to all nations, but only the Jews "chose" to follow it, so they became the "chosen" people. G-d will always "have a special place in His heart" for Jews, but will never not love a Xtian more than a Jew.
2. That said, the differences between Judaism and Xtianity are huge. Theological differences aside, it is NOT just that Jews don't believe in J*sus and Xtians do. Judaism is about living THIS life, Xtianity is about securing your place in the afterlife. Judaism is about loving your neighbor as yourself, Xtianity is about making your neighbor as yourself. (I kid, of course, but really--Judaism's theology is that they don't care what religion you are, you still have a place in Paradise if you are a good person. Xtianity says that you have to be Xtian to get into heaven.) Judaism follows all the old laws in the Tanakh (no letter of the law shall be changed), Xtians believe J*sus destroyed them and made a new covenant. There are many other differences as I've just named a few here, feel free to email me if you have any more questions or comments on what I've said, and I also would like to note I do not block out the name of J*sus or Xtian to be disrespectful, but to be respectful to my own religion which says I must not write the names of foreign idols--I use the X in Xtianity to represent the Greek letter that makes that sound, to try and be as respectful as possible, I don't mean to offend.
Peace

Do you people even know what you believe?
I hear contradictory stuff like, Jesus was fully man, and fully God.
Jews are God's chosen people, but we are Christians so we are saved.
Look, the Jews WERE God's chosen people, the Children of Israel has the Prophet Moses peace be upon him.
They still became rebellious, even though they had seen the most miracles, and worshipped other than God.
God sent Jesus Peace be upon him, to teach people to get back on the straight path, and we all know what the Jews tried to do. They TRIED to kill him. Now you guys believe some how that God is person died, forgiving your sins, but then he was resurrected (maybe undoing the salvation)
We as Muslims believe that when the Jews came to kill Jesus Son of Mary, he was saved, and God brought him back up to heaven, and that he will descend again to fight the anti-christ.
And we also believe that Jesus Son of Mary was a Messenger, a human, and not divine.
Why? Read for yourself
[005:072] Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "God is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary." But the Messiah Jesus said: "O Children of Israel! Worship God, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with God, then God has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong doers) there are no helpers.
[005:073] Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "God is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no god (none who has the right to be worshipped) but God alone. And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them.
[005:074] Will they not turn with repentance to God and ask His forgiveness? For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[005:075] The Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother Mary was a Siddîqah [i.e. she believed in the Words of God and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while God does not eat). Look how We make the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them; yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).
Peace Be With You

All people have equal access to God.
"Chosen" just means that the Jew are "chosen" to have special responsibility in the world.
The Hebrew Bible outlines 7 universal laws for all mankind (the sheva mitzvot b'nei noach), and 613 laws specially for Jews which non-Jews are not required to observe.

The Jews were living the law to the letter of the law, no mercy, no forgiveness and they had become dead in the law. Jesus brought life to the law, he brought mercy and forgiveness. The Jews rejected him as Messiah and Jesus told them, It was said that the Jews are the chosen people of God, but since you have rejected me I tell you now that it will no longer be the Jews, instead it will be the Gentiles.

The true Israel of God consists of all those who have saving faith in God whether Jew or Gentile it makes no difference. The OldTestament scriptures were a shadow of things to come and God used symbolic types to convey information about spiritual truths. The nation of Israel is one of those symbolic types representing the body of Christ, all those who have become saved. Just as Israel was a chosen nation so God's true kingdom is also a chosen nation.

The Jews have a spiritual heritage.
We are all given the opportunity to be a part of the "regenerate Jews" blessings.
The Jews have 7 years owed to them by God.
The new Covenant will be fulfilled.
Jewish people need to be regenerate, just as anyone else.
The Jew does have a very special promise when the Rapture occurs.
When a Jewish person accepts Christ as Savior, after the return of Christ, they are guaranteed to survive the Tribulation.
They will live through all the violence.
This is a great, great promise and important thing to remember.
The Rapture is imminent and transcendent.
I don't have time to answer the entire question.
I would like to though.
I would like to site scripture.
I am studying Israel in Conflict and it is very, very interesting.
Good question.
:)Peace out
