left hand path satanist
Before anyone is judgemental, i found this paragraph that helps explain things well.
"Satanism is often mistaken as being a religion that encourages cruelty and irresponsible behaviour, but LaVey's brand is very different. Central is the idea inherited from Nietzsche that an individual must enforce his own meaning on life and rise above the perceived conformity of the masses. The Satanist is seen as equivalent to Nietzsche's Übermensch; LaVey claimed "Satanists are born, not made" and that "[Satanists] have a disease called independence that needs to be recognised just like alcoholism." There is a libertarian element here; diversity is encouraged, everyone is expected to discover their own sexuality, chart their own personality, and decide their own ambitions in life. In this stress on individuality."

I am Wiccan, and everyone has the right to believe (or not to believe).
As long as nobody attempts to force me to convert to anything else, I don't mind if a person choses to be christian, Muslim, hinduism, or satanism. I have friends of many different religious beliefs, as well as atheists. Although, I do not have any friends who claim to be satanic.

Okay, so why call it Satanist? What does it have to do with Satan?
Call it moralism, or real life, or being normal, but as soon as you call it satanism, I have to ask why. First the obvious reason of the stereotype of a demon burning people in hell, and second, why use that word? If satan implies freedom, isn't freedom a good thing? And isn't satan generally perceived as a bad thing? If it is freedom from God, wouldn't God allow that, so why would free will be morally bad?
I think you are trying so hard to avoid christianity that you hit the complete opposite pole. Just be yourself, try your best, and don't kill anyone. I don't know what religion that is, but it sounds normal and makes sense to me.
