I need two free-standing doors (in frames) for use as part of a stage-set. One would be the front door of a bar, the other an internal door of the bar.
I'm based in Liverpool, so I'm hoping there's somewhere nearby.

Perhaps there's a building salvage in your area that you can buy a couple doors for. You may have to build frames, but it would be cheaper than having to go through a lumber store for all of it...

Are there no hardware stores or builder supply stores in Liverpool? In the US we'd simply go to Home Depot or Lowes to pick up a pre-framed door. I did a quick search using Yahoo UK but am not familiar with UK suppliers or Liverpool geography to give you a direct answer. I did see that there was a reclaimed builder's salvage yard in Surrey but don't know how far that might be from you.

Well, I live in Canada. But where you live, are there any wrecking facilities that re-claim and sell items from wrecked buildings? If so try that. Good luck.
