If you are talking to the girl and she is talking back and she plays with her hair, usually it is flirting. I know i do it because I am nervous around the guy.

Well, it can mean lots of things. Well, if she possibly pretends to drop her books in front of you, and says: "Oh dear.. I may need some help!", She's calling for you. And if she's ugly or not, it doesnt matter. As long as they have true feelings for you, and is what you want in a girl, then go for her, because she's worth it!

she's flirting when she's twirling her hair and making direct eye contact with you...you can actually see it in her eyes if she's really flirting
