How does your first statement relate to the question? Are you implying that I should love Jesus because He loves you? Do YOU love Jesus? What is the meaning of your love? Do you follow His instructions? If you only TRY to follow his instructions, then you are only trying to love Him. Jesus proved His love by following the instructions of His Father. The proof of your love for Jesus is following His instructions.

I think the Jesus story is cute. It is unlikely it has anything to do with deities of any sort. As for the question of love, Jesus has been dead for about 2000 years. Unlikely he can love anyone or anything. He is unconscious and gone.
Much of what he allegedly said has great value. And yet, so much hate is fomented in his name. Wish we could focus on each of us rather than try to escape to Jesus, Mohammed, etc.
They were probably very cool people. They are long gone. And much of their legacy is one of war, hate and bigotry -- something which they would be mortified by.
I am constantly amazed by folks who say to me things like, "I am against homosexuals because I am a Christian." The absurdity of the statement -- of justifying one's bigotry -- on the supposed words of someone like Jesus is simply preposterous! And such a copout!
I am sure if Jesus ever did return at Xmas to see what we do in his name, he would climb back on the cross and be gone with us. He would also have nothing to do with wealth, with destruction of the planet, with hate groups, with war. And yet, so many of those who claim to be Christians are just the opposite. So sad.

Yes I love him, with all my heart on earth, and I love you for say it one more, time, Its pity that there are people that feel negative or all the Evil forces coming to then, and they let their ugliness earths show their non-Humanistic qualities to become, You are in pursue of a good and noble Cause, Just remember that there is such a thing about "Cause and effect" in which case everything is good effect not matter whatever else said, whatever they may think they can accomplish to take there time to reproach or treat your cause as ugly, they sound ugly to me?? .

With my whole heart, soul and might. I gave Jesus my life at Baptism and rededicated my commitment to Jesus at my Confirmation. Every Mass, every Eucharist, every breath is dedicated to Jesus.

The living God loves us, all of us...even when we don't love him.
He offers a relationship through, Jesus Christ.
He even loves us when we make bad choices and stupid mistakes.

No. I receive love from people who alive here on Earth, and give love to people who are alive here on Earth. You can't love or receive love from someone who is dead, especially when you weren't even there while he was alive.
