There is a big difference between helping children out with their homework, and then doing it for them. How is someone supposed to learn if they post questions up on Yahoo Answers and there are many people that give the answers flat out? We wonder why the US does not compare for test scores with other countries, this might be a big reason why. Either the children pay attention in school, get help from their teachers, peers or friends. But getting answers off the internet such as this, that's just flat out cheating. If they don't take the time to learn or attempt to learn the information required by doing homework, there's no helping this generation that is supposed to be taking care of us when we are older. As Aristophanes said, “Youth ages, immaturity is outgrown, ignorance can be educated, drunkenness sobered, but stupid lasts forever.” Please prove Aristophanes and me incorrect with this generation. I fear more than I have feared before for the young people.

Children beware! This can be a great place to get inspiration or a starting point for research, but just like any written word it is subject to its writers.

Take all !answers with a "grain of salt".

I answered a question about "Why did Athena change Medusa into a monster?" There were several silly answers, a few good answers, and several opinions unrelated to the question.
My post was the first post to answer that it was APHRODITE that supposedly changed Medusa NOT Athena.

Children beware!

Yes there is a difference between helping them and doing it for them...I don't think there is anything wrong with showing a child how to do work and then letting them do the actual work for themselves

the answer for your question come rant is common, no longer each teen has father and mom who can help you them with consumer-friendly data they prefer to could help them through existence. they are stuck with father and mom who're both stoned out of their skulls on dope, bladdered to the eyeballs with drink, or they only couldn't supply a monkeys what occurs to their babies or what they are getting as a lot as, so as that they ask different adults questions because human beings of their own age team do not understand the solutions both. you won't be able to blame the teen for having idiots as father and mom. i imagine it may be incorrect to classify human beings in the following on their age team. As for sexual predators, shouldn't we be searching at ideas to stay away from them from gaining access to the youngsters who use Yahoo solutions quite then chasing the youngsters out to their own 'play section'? it does no longer be too confusing for Yahoo to position in position an age question for even as they signal in to Yahoo solutions, which will immediately disable the contact centers on their money owed. That, i could flow alongside with, yet herding babies right into a pen of their own the position they can in reality ask human beings of their own age questions, is only no longer on. All you are able to be doing is denying them the right to fairly of advice, given on the muse of existence journey and understand how, that can make truly some distinction to their lives. Admittedly, truly some the question are previous daft, yet have you ever taken a lengthy confusing inspect each and each of the daft questions that are requested by technique of supposedly grown up human beings?

I think we should just give them some indications. We should not be doing the homework for them nor teach them to copy everything from wikipedia.

I don't see the harm in helping them just as long we are not doing it for them, they will never learn that way. we can point things out and tell them where to look.
