PSM - I am an American of Irish descent & I too like Guinness although I find it very filling & can't drink more than 2 at a sitting.

American:
Lager - Labatt Blue
Ale - Dogfish Head 90-minute IPA
Stout - Rogue Chocolate or Founder's Kentucky Breakfast

non-American:
Wheat - Weihenstephan HefeDunkel
Stout - Young's Oatmeal
Other - Trappistes Rochefort 8

All of them warm/European style except the wheat beer and the Labatt.

properly, Canada is in North usa, yet once I had to make your suggestions up on that is my first determination. Australia, New Zealand, great Britain, and eire might complete my record. They talk English in those international locations and that i'm too lazy to learn the different language. LOL
