Is there any way I can find my father?

I haven't seen him since I was about 7 years old and I am going to be 18 next month. I just found an old letter he sent me in Christmas time. But the letter is all the way back from 1999!!! My father is the type of person to travel a lot... and I haven't heard from him in over a year. I don't know his SSN, I don't know his address, phone number, or anything, just his name. Is there anyway I can some how get his SSN and start searching for him?

Try www.whitepages.com & see if that helps you locate him. I'd try sending a note to your dad at the last given address you have for him, just to be on the safe side. Be sure your return address is on the outside of the envelope, so it can be returned, if necessary. Are you able to contact any of his family, (siblings, parents) & find out his location? Don't ever give up in your search for your dad. Where there's a will...there's a way. I wish you luck as you search for your father.
