I'll lay it all out for you right here and now. Your asking this question so I will assume you are asking it as a girl who wants a relationship for the 'long haul.' Some men will say they 'HAVE' to have a beautiful woman, that has a certain perk in her breast, the right rotundness of her behind. But thats not love, its simply lust, a prize you can show off to your old drinking buddies. Relationships like that usually fizzle out within a few months or wasted years. I'll tell you this, I would pick the cute wholesome down to earth girl over the hot sexy vixen anytime. I'd pick Betty over Veronica. (Don't know if you'll get the reference, and if you don't read Archie comics just know Betty is the wholesome girl, veronica hot rich *****.)

Intelligence, but tempered. Guys love a girl that can hold a conversation and knows what she is talking about. but what guys do not like is information overload, if you are extremely intelligent and know it, temper it, calm it, act naturally, do not try and impress him by your knowledge of physics when he simply wants to get to know you as a person.

We love, i mean love, a girl that can 'Get us'. As in obscure references to our favorite movies, songs and such. And please, please don't do this, and I will explain. If a guy says he likes, lets use for example, Incubus. Do not say you absolutely 'Luh Huv' Incubus when you have only heard a single on the radio. He might say I love 'Light Grenades' something you have absolutely no idea about. and your like yeah, love it to, but my favorite is 'Pardon me.' Don't jump into the river unless you know whats lurking at the bottom.

Be assertive, be aggressive. God I love an agressive woman who takes charge, especially if I myself am being shy. Take over, tell me to purk up, tell me your interested so theirs really no reason to act so shy around you.

No sex, absolutely no sex on the first date. I know I am a guy telling you this and it might seem absurd, but if I have sex with you on the very first night we meet. If I see all of you in that first night, you might not know it then, but I will lose a certain amount of respect for you. Wow, I could go on and on, but you might not want to read all I have to say. Most younger guys or even some of the older guys well tell you boobs and butts and such. They're in it for the looks and the sex. But guys like me want so much more. Sure we enjoy the good looks and if it comes to sex we enjoy great sex too. But what I really want and some guys do is a great woman with a great personality, character, charm and whit, with maybe a great voice too. Also then comes in the good looks that actually complement who she is inside and also good hair, great eyes, a great smile and all that facial stuff helps. I like a woman with eyes that smile if you get me there. So it's more then just looks girls. Also this is just a fact and a warning. Guys my age can see right through "fake girls".

1st I need a reason to look at a woman. She has to have something about her that catches my eye. It might be her figure or her hair or her style. Once I am interested enough to do something about it I would find a way to approach her without leaving myself the oppurtunity to look foolish. Once I get to talk with her it gets simple....either I enjoy it or I don't. I don't go for players because it is so much less stressful to be honest. I'll go out with a girl who is average looks but fun to be around. She needs a sense of humor and the desire to go out and have fun.
