I have a perscription for zithromax can i grind my pills and drink it w/ water. will it still be affective.

Get your script filled. Drop the number of pills that you should take into two-ounces of water. After about 30-minutes give it a stir and drink it in "shot fashion." After that have a drink of your fav beverage to kill any after taste.
Full potency, no loss of anything.

Yes - they make a pediatric one that is in suspension. You can always let the pharmacy know you can't swallow pills when you get a prescription filled and they will help you with that. Many places even give you a choice of flavors!

Not good to grind up your z-max. you need oral suspension, if you cant swallow your pill, you may try putting it in apple sauce, and see if you can swallow it that way, if you have already, got your medicine.
