It is a girls room she is going to paint it pink and purple...so...2 walls pink/2 purple...how can I do this and not let the colors run together? I know to use that painters tape but how long do I have to let one color dry before applying the tape to it to put the other color on? And then will that tape stop it from bleeding thru?

Ok...lemme ask you one question. R u overlapping the colors or just gonna paint them side by side ,pink on one wall then purple on the next/ If so, u outline the frame of the wall with painters tape around all sides and paint it, then put the tape around the next wall and continue..... I'm pretty sure thats the way you should do it.

Use the blue mask tape. It is more expensive but it will give you a clean look.

24 hrs sounds good.

Add pink & white accents on purple wall to soften the space, and purple and white on the pink wall

Enjoy

use the bloo tape and just let it sit until the next day and it feels dry. Do 2 walls at a time (one color at a time)

24 hrs should do it with most latex paints. More if your area has high humidity.
