Any ideas for a date other than the movies (and keep it cheap too)??

My boyfriend and I want to go on a date later today... but we want it to be cheap and NOT the movies... we're tired of going there...
we want to keep the price down low too.
does anyone have good ideas??

Cheap alternatives:

1. Shooting pool, (you pay by the game). 5 games if you're an average player would take you approx. 2 hours and cost approximately $5.00.

2. Pizza by the slice. You can get it with ice water to go very cheap. Approximately up to 2 hours to eat and have conversation in a restaurant cost approximately $5.00 (for three slices)

3. Walking around Costco, trying out all the furniture and free samples, staring into other peoples carts to figure out why they would possibly need a 5 gallon jug of olive oil. Approximately any amount of time cost $free$ (Actually you can also get a hotdog and soda there for a whopping $1.50 a piece). You technically need membership to get into Costco, but you can always tell them that you're getting membership and they'll let you in. You just won't be able to buy anything other than the hotdog's.

4. Stay home and play cards. Really great way to talk and be intimate, (card game choices are up to you, strip is always fun). Approximate time indefinate cost $free$ to $2.00 for a deck of cards.

5. Go Dancing. Saturday night, go to a club (if you're of age). Always fun but you may have a cover charge to get in and you have to tip for beverages, but could still be cheaper then movies with the cost of concession.

6. Okay saved this one for last as it's my personal favorite. Go for a walk together. Go to a play ground and play on the swings and slides and playground equipment. Approximately indefinate amount of time cost $free$.

Have a picnic in the park or stay at your house or his house and watch a movie or TV or play a game or talk or listen to music or dance or have a little fun and have a small party with you and him or... SURPRISE HIM WITH A GIFT, A PARTY, AND A... GREAT MEAL! He will probably like it so much that he will get you something very special and surprise you with it sometime afterwards. I think the movies are bad dates anyway. You don't talk and interact, you just sit there.

How about a museum? They are usually free or very cheap. You look at stuff and offer each other your opinion. Stuff you see may remind you of stories and experiences you may want to share and hence bring you closer.

what about ice skating or roller blading? If the weather is nice go for a walk in the woods or by the river and just pack a little lunch that is always fun.

Depending on where you live, take a bus ride around your city, pack your lunch, or dinner and see the sites, stop somewhere maybe inside like mall, with a food court, eat your lunch, and on to your next venture. Your bus ticket shouldn't cost you that much, and you can see the sights.

Bowling, ballroom dancing, ice skating or roller blading, etc. Look in the entertainment section of your newspaper to see what's going on in town.

Go to the beach for a pinic...Your bf can show how thoughtful(or inthoughtful) he is, and you can show him that you can manage a few tricks in the kitchen...If all is well, you can both go rolling around in the sand.

go bowling or skating. pick up take out and have a board game night. a bottle of something might not hurt either.

or, make a picinic and go out to a park with your bikes.
