I've know this guy for about 9 months and we've talked A LOT. I keep getting signs that he likes me, but right when I get that sign, it sort of fades away and I'm like "Yeah, right" I'm not sure if he still has a girlfriend, I haven't talked with her in a long time. But, I wish I could figure out if this guys likes me or not. We have so much in common, and have tons of fun talking together I don't see why not. He already knows I like him though, and didn't really respond to it.

well ask him! that's the only true way to find out... it is said a girl knows when a guy likes her, and since you do get those vibes, he probably does! ask him, let him know how you feel and remember to mention that no matter how he feels about her, after this, you don't want your feelings to affect your friendship in any way (and it isn't)! it takes courage to ask, but i'm sure you can do it! and most likely, something good will come out of it! xD all the best!

You sound desperate and needy for this guy. Without knowing your age it's hard to give you specific advice because it needs to be age-appropriate. So here's my generic answer: If you are under 18, you should continue to be friends and forget the romance part. There are many things you need to learn and do before you are ready for romance.
1. Groom immaculately
2. Dress nicely
3. Study harder than ever
4. Spend an hour a day in the library
5. Spend an hour a day at the gym
6. Honor your parents and your teachers
7. Get involved in a worthy school function
8. Volunteer a few hours a week for a worthy cause
9. Help someone every day
10.Go to Church
11.Invite your friends to Church
12.Take group dance lessons

If a guy likes you, and knows you likes him, he'll repond relatively quick. So try to decide if the "didn't really respond" is a response or not. No response means no liking. Simple.

I would casually ask him what ever happened to you girlfriend. I haven't seen her for a while. then when he answers you and if he does not have girlfriend any more what a coulpe of days before you ask him out. That's if you what to date him. Don't ask him right of cause he might think your up to sumething and he might not like it.

If you like him, i dont see any reason why you shouldn't go n directly approach him n ask him whether he likes you or not. if you feel shy to do that... maybe ask his friend who might know about this..
