I have practice in about 3 hrs. and I've had a cold (or allergies) for about 3 or 4 days now. I really need to go. I already missed one practice. What can I do to get some energy really fast and feel a lot better, even if it's just temporary? Enough to get me through a 2 and a half hour practice, anyway? thanks!

what you can do is not to go if you feel the same, take care of yourself, there is no quick fix .there is only one you if you miss practice, you will live ,if you go and get sicker and can't play, that's 2 strikes, the the show goes on.take care.

use a nasal spray from your local drugstore to clear up your nose- two sprays in each nostril should do the trick and clear you up. also, baby vicks and regular help you clear up your sinuses. put some on underneath your nose and on your chest and sinus gland, near the bridge of your nose and on the side of your nose and then stem up a hot bowl of water. put a towel over your head and let the stem with the Vicks open you up for 2-4 minuets. taking a hot shower before your practice helps open you up too. try purchasing vapor pads from the drugstore as well. good luck and feel better!

I would take something packed with vitamins B (drink or pill) plus some caffeine. Also taurine is really good for energy...

I take megamen (megawomen in your case) by GNC and a ROCKSTAR energy drink 1 hour before my games and I am totally energized for like 3 hours of intense physical activity...

Make sure your nose is not congested... If you cant breathe properly, you are going to run out of steam fast...

Good luck!

well, there's really nothing that will work that quickly. you should take vitamin c to help boost your immune function and help fight off the cold. unfortunately there's nothing that can be done in a 3 hour time frame to take care of that.

colds come and go in their own time! Colds go throuh a latent stage(sleeping), so no matter what you'll still have it!
