No. I would still believe. People are all the time trying to disprove the existence of God or Jesus. They go to great links, as much as saying that they have discovered Jesus' bones. But anyways I will continue to believe in what I know. God is real and he had a only begotten Son named Jesus. If I am wrong, then I have not hurt anyone. My type of belief does not promote wars or killing, so I have brought no harm to anyone. Have a nice day.

I don't care if she had other children. I suspect that she had other children besides Jesus. I'm Catholic and I'm fine with that as many other Catholics I know are fine with it. We aren't going to abandon our religion or stop respecting Mary because she wasn't an all eternal virgin. She was a virgin when she was impregnated by the Holy Spirit but who knows after that? The point is that she was the first Christian and was willing to gave her son to the world. That should be enough.

Mary HAD to be a Virgin. Mary is seen as the Ark of the New Covenant -- for when she carried God himself in her womb "the Word was God" JN 1:1) . In the book of Exodus, when the original ark is being built -- for his Word -- the Tablets containing His very word to us, he mandated that it be made with the finest wood (acacia was enable to endure the harsh dryness of the desert) and "overlay it with pure gold, both inside and out" (EX 25:11). All other appurtenances relating to temple worship were also made of gold. Read the books of Exodus and Leviticus....the word "gold" is used some 45 times!!!
When the time came for the Incarnation -- God becoming Man in the person of Jesus, God again needed a spotless vessel -- and so he looked to Mary whom he had created without sin -- for where sin is, God cannot be. For this reason, Catholics believe in the Mary's Immaculate Conception -- that he pre-cleansed her from the stain of all sin from the moment of her conception -- so that she may be worthy to carry Him who created her. It is an enormous gift of grace that we shall all have one day. She simply got her portion in advance through God's mercy. It was NOTHING that she herself merited. It was God's choice. "For he has looked with mercy on his lowly servant..." (LK 1:48).
So.........did she have children after Jesus? Again, the answer MUST be no -- a huge Truth that NO-ONE at all is to follow Jesus -- the Way, the Truth and the Life.
What of the siblings mentioned in the gospels? Patrisitc Greek, which the NT was written in -- not the modern Greek of today in use since 1453 with the fall of the Byzantine Empire to the Turks -- had NO equivalent for the terms "cousin", "nephew", "brother-in-law", etc. Everyone was a brother. In some instances, circumlocution was used to describe particular relationships. For example, In Acts 23:16, Paul's own nephew is described as "the son of Paul's sister". Don't forget, ancient peoples were very clannish and lived together under one roof....thus the frequent use of the term "brother" or "sister".
To determine just who these siblings of Jesus actually were, check out this site:

PS....even the Muslims believe in the Virginity of Mary -- before and after the birth of Jesus: http://www.islamfortoday.com/galvan03.htm

Jesus’ brothers and sisters -
Jesus’ family included His brothers James, Joses, Juda, Simon and His sisters (Mk.6:3, Matt.13:55-56, Gal.1:19 below)
Matt.1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Mk.6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us (Matt.13:55-56 below)? And they were offended at him.
Matt.13:55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
Matt.13:56 And his sisters, are they not all with us (Mk.6:3 above)? Whence then hath this [man] all these things?
Gal.1:19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother (Mk.6:3, Matt.13:55 above)..

Gospel According to Saint Luke
Chapter 1
46 And Mary said: My soul doth magnify the Lord. 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. 48 Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. 49 Because he that is mighty, hath done great things to me; and holy is his name. 50 And his mercy is from generation unto generations, to them that fear him.
"Shall call me blessed"... These words are a prediction of that honour which the church in all ages should pay to the Blessed Virgin. Let Protestants examine whether they are any way concerned in this prophecy.
51 He hath shewed might in his arm: he hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. 52 He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble. 53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. 54 He hath received Israel his servant, being mindful of his mercy: 55 As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed for ever.

As a former member of the Catholic faith NOTHING is impossible for God not even virgin birth, and if you have faith
in the bible, you will note there are many "miracles that a non-
believer would find IMPOSSIBLE regardless of what religion you
pratice!

Well she was a virgin when Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit. However, she was NOT a virgin the remainder of her life as the catholics choose to believe. That is not true.

well I have never believed, but please let's stop thinking that Mary is a virgin. There´s only one way to have babies and Joseph was Jesus' natural father...and about the story of the Holy Ghost.... hellooo !!! Christian Catholic Church is sooo strict and the idea that Mary is a virgin is due to the negative attitude of Church ( as an institution ) towards women.... I could write 4 ever but I´d better stop here.
