the west coast, to be more exact california, to be more exact LA

it could also mean the west side of the place they live, but like 90% of all gangsta rappers come from california, but people like the game, who is notorious for saying west side and ridin on rap vetrens from the west careers.

They are refering to the side of their city or town to which they hail or belong. Like an L.A. Gangster may say ''sup my bigga wigga homie mofo guna getcha shot mofo on the turf we spillin. West Side West Side. Get Some''

By This he means ''Hello Stranger, We dont like you, as a result you may be shot when near my homeplace. I am from the west side. If you dare proceed on your way''

They're representing where they are from. What side of town or side of the country. Like "Dirty South" or "East Coast"
