I think everyone wants what they can't have. It's about the allure of the forbidden. Aside from that, there could be several reasons depending on the situation. She may have actually liked you, but needed more time to really make up her mind, so she turned you down because she thought you would wait for her. She also may just be jealous of the relationship because she is lonely. She could have realized that she had feelings for you after you were with someone else. Or she may have liked you the whole time, but she didn't want a relationship for whatever reason. Maybe she didn't like you enough to be with you, but it still hurts to see you with someone else. I think it really depends on the girl and the situation. Not all girls are that irrational though.

Desperate times call for Desperate Measures. I'm sure that this is going to be hard for u but stop being a B.I.T.C.H! I mean dammit man she doesn't want u! why are u so upset? so what she is dating your friend. so what she is topping. She doesn't want u so u shouldn't be worried about her or her activities. U r sounding pretty damn pathetic, obsessed and jealous right now. U and her boyfriend are probably the only ones who think that she is "the supreme." Do u need to prove yourself to her in order to feel fulfilled. She obviously doesn't care "what you are made of" because she rejected your @ss! Just distance yourself from her and let it go.

succedd for yourself and not for anyone else. Who cares what she does or thinks. Enjoy the musical talents you have, and yes become more seriously involved in the music. Study lots, but also make some time for you as well. This girls head is into the books and she doesn't want to loose focus on her studies, but she will end up burning out at this pace. Take care and good luck

Well, why are you feeling this way? Competing with someone else? We are all unique individuals and I am sure there are things that you are better at than she is. However, the point is, it doesn't matter. You need to find out why you are so insecure within yourself and why you feel the need to compete. One upping someone is never the answer. Wanting good things for people, besides yourself is the answer. Perhaps you need to see a therapist.

So sorry you have been disappointed in love, and your desire for revenge is only natural! However, coming top of the class isn't the only criterion for success - I think that a rounded personality and musical talent are equally important, if not more so - therefore you ARE better than her, nah!

I know it bothers you when you like someone and they dont like you back. If she doesnt return the feelings it isnt worth worrying or being upset that she is topping you. Nobody is worth that if they dont like you. Find someone you likes you back and treats you good. Treat her good as well. Life will be better. That is what love (friendship) is all about. RESPECT for each other.

huh? why are you bothering? it doesn't matter! it doesn't affect you! think about what YOU need to do.. and fame isn't everything neither is topping.. it's good that you admit your jealous.. but remember this: everyone is special in their own ways, she is academically and perhaps, you are musically or even MULTI TALENTED! =D you don't have to prove to her or ANYONE anything cause you are you and you are special! xD
