i am now on blood pressure meds started them about three days ago.

yes, HBP can cause headaches, especially in the back of your head. Are you being treated yet? If you don't it's of extreme urgency you do, you might be playing with your life, if you already have and naven't missed a single dose (and check your BP dialy) tell your treating physician, since you are not supposed to get headaches if under the right treatment which can consist of 2 or 3 different medications.

Before I was first diagnosed with high blood pressure, I had some of the meanest headaches! When the doc got me on hbp pills and my blood pressure started coming down the headaches went away! It may take awhile for your blood pressure to stabalize, but the headahes should go away! If not then you'll know they are caused by something else.

They say that high blood pressure has no symptoms. But for me personally before I knew I had it, I would get headaches and decided to take my blood pressure at that time and found a correlation. So I think it is possible, of course I get headaches for other reasons too. Now I'm on medicine for this and my headaches are greatly reduced. Just wanted to share my experience with this.

Most often high blood pressure is symptom-less but it is possible
