Hi im 16 years old, and the past 2 months have been horrible, first i didnt eat any chips or anythign that wasnt bad, just stuck to organic foods etc, now its to the point where, im eating very very little a day, i dont know what to do , because it is controlling every little thing i do. I was recently babysitting yestreday and hadnt eaten anything except some grapes. So i decided since my aunt was standing right there, id show them im somewhat eating. So i ate a few, after they left adn i put the kids to bed i felt so bad, and i went to the bathroom and threw up. Why is this happenin to me?! And what do i do?! my parents dont kno, and if they did. Id be in so much trouble. ! someone help?

I don't want to alarm you but this sounds as an eating disorder to me. You should consult a psychologist (maybe you have one in your school) and talk about it or go to your doctor an explain everything that happens to you. I hope everything will be all right.

Oh girl, you are on the road to anorexia or bulemia. I've got quite a few things to tell you.
First off, been there, done that. Yes, I got skinny... BUT... I was miserable and turned into a mental case. I was mean to my friends, mean to my boyfriend, it was NOT worth it. NEVER throw up your food. It's a downward spiral that can lead to organ failure and even death.
There are healthier ways to lose weight, or rather, tone up your body. Have you checked your BMI recently? If it is under 18.5, you don't need to lose any more weight! I would also highly suggest you rely less on what you're eating and more on exercise. Go to www.shape.com to get more info on acheiving a healthy lifestyle.
Okay, a few things. There is no such thing as a bad food. Fats, oils and sugars all have a place in your diet. You just aren't supposed to overconsume them. You NEED fat in your diet. Even as little as 20 grams a day would help tremendously. Read the labels on your food. Of course, make smart decisions. A turkey sandwich with mustard and a slice of cheese is way better for you than a cheeseburger with mayo.
Next, just because something is organic doesn't necessarily mean it's good for you... it just means it was grown without hormones (if meat) or pesticides and treatments if fruits or veggies. Eat them in moderation.
Seriously, you need to get your life back on track. I *know* it's hard, but getting skinny isn't worth losing your life over. There are many much healthier ways to get the body you want.
A few tips... eat a good breakfast. Maybe a bowl of cereal with skim milk. Have a sandwich and salad for lunch, and some grilled chicken and veggies for dinner. This is a very low cal menu for the day. You're probably living at home, and if there aren't a whole lot of healthy options available, just eat whatever it is they're serving until you're full, and stop. If you have a lot of weight to lose, I promise this will help. If you can, try to go out and walk every day. If you can get 30 minutes of aerobic workout somewhere in your day, it will boost your metabolism for 8 hours.
Please take my advice to heart! You will feel much better about yourself when you stop obsessing over how little food you are eating and throwing up and start focusing on eating enough healthy food and doing enough exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Good luck!

OK noticed everyone who says tell your parents is getting a bad mark, so I'm guessing that's you and you don't feel ready to do that, That's OK but i want you to think about it rationally do you really think that you would be in trouble? or do you think that they would perhaps do all that they could to help you.
I agree you need to talk to someone you have recognized that the way you are behaving with food is not good and that is a very good step. could you speak to a teacher at school or a learning mentor? or even a friends parent? talking to someone who can help is the next step for you because what has happened is you have formed a bad relationship with food in your mind you are not alone lots of people do this. I do, but i tend to eat when I'm emotional as a comfort this is also a negative thing to do and I'm trying to address it. we need food to live but it should not control our lives!!!!!!! please talk to some one people will understand x

Get professional help immediatly. You have an eating disorder. Bulimia is what they call it. It can keep you from having babies, stunt your growth or even kill you. You are not living a healthy lifestyle. Please tell your momma, I'm sure she will help you and not judge you. This is very serious and I hope you take it that way. Its a mental illness and you need help.

You'd be in bigger trouble if you did not tell your parents what is going on with your eatting habits. You need to talk to your doctor about this as well. Get help soon.

First of all, tell your parents. You sound like you have anorexia and/or bullemia, both of which can be fatal. You need to see a doctor, and possibly a psychiatrist to get to the bottom of why you feel obsessed with food. Seriously....get help and fast.
