I have this "special guy friend" who I've actually liked for a couple years now. He's 22, and he's kind of a dork, but I love him anyways. AMAZING personality. I've heard rumors around campus that he is a virgin, as well as many cruel (I consider them cruel) jokes about how he'd be a good lay because he is a very BIG guy (not fat- BIG. tall and thick and the biggest hands I've ever seen in my life). He's very sheltered, but I find it hard to believe that at 22, a guy is still a virgin. He NEVER talks about girls, and rarely dates. A girl dumped HIM a couple years ago for HIM not putting out. I love him to death, and will either way, but I just can't come out and ASK him. I've picked up on a few "signs" ... but am just not sure.
1. sexual jokes? either doesn't get them or it takes him a long time...
2. tried to imitate sex once. Involved BOUNCING. no one had the heart to say "you're supposed to THRUST"
3. wears whitie tighties. his mom still buys them.

Im a 39 year old virgin but its a choice i made to not have sex till marriage. Let me explain to you something about ur friend and about most virgin by choice guys. They are looking for something deep and meaningful in a society that is very shallow and puts sex first and everything else second.
Has this worked so far for our society? Big fat NOOOO. Check the divorce rates, check the single parent homes, check the amount of business local shrinks are making. Girl, it sounds like u got urself a keeper.
My advice: GO FOR IT AND DONT LOOK BACK

Sounds bad but i used to be the sort of same with this girl i used to love to pieces, shed never talk about sex really, well not to me as far as i know, snd im her best friend. So, very curious, i invited her round mine one night, we sat and watched a film and chatted in the usual way, and then i openly said "im thinking about losing my virginity" and told by her reaction. From this i could obviously say she was a virgin, becuase she didnt know what to do or say to me, and after a while, i asked her. The best thing you could do would be to talk to him normally, then some reason or another, get onto the subject of sex and slip it in, something to do with virginity, whether like i did, or say you heard in the news that this man had lost his virginity at 55 or something random. Just ease him onto the idea of sex and then ask him, or confess you are and then ask him.
Even better, talk about sex and see how her reacts, ask him what position is the best for him, where he had sex etc, and see what his reactions are. If he says that doggy is the best, he probably is a virgin, because before in had sex i thought doggy would be amazing, so do all virgins for some reason. Just drop hijnts and stuff through the evening.
You have nothing to worry about, especially if your his best female friend!!! Just dont pop the question out of the air

He probably is a Virgin, but so what? I am 31 and a virgin and know other people older than myself who are virgins. Lot's of non-virgins wear whity titties so you might as well get over that as an indicator. Maybe he is a just a good guy and a keeper.
