For 8 months I have been harrassed at work and in my personal life by people armed with information being passed along by an x. This person I dated was recording or otherwise documenting all of our conversations and activities and is passing along all of this information to everyone I meet. People at work are quoting things back to me that I have said and mocking the same situations over and over and they won't stop. I have tried calling the police and getting a lawyer, to no avail.

Make a bunch of flyer's with a photo of your ex's face on them. Distort face a bit, maybe X out the eyes or draw on it. Then write:
ATTENTION MEN AND WOMEN. For the worst sex in your life, call ~~> (his cell #)
Post them in laundromats way way across town, public restrooms, bus stops etc.
Ok that's is just as childish as what he is doing. I know.
Get another lawyer. Every time you hear someone at work say anything that has come from your ex about you, hand them a business card of the lawyer and tell them, 'You are now involved in the case. Contact my lawyer within 72 hours. If you do not, I will assume you are on his side of the case. I can no longer speak to you with out my lawyer present.' Then walk away.
If your fuckedup ex did not tell you he was recording or ask if he could, and is using the information in a harassing and detrimental way, you have a case.

The police should take you seriously as its wrong whats happening. Keep trying with police as this is slander.Or see a solicitor, and ask them to send a warning letter to your ex this should stop him in his tracks in fear of getting into more trouble, and he will then know you mean buisness.dont take any notice of the remarks they will soon get fed up when their getting no response from you.
