You have to measure your stride, because people of the same height walk differently. I am 5'5" and have a 2 foot stride, so it takes me 5280 feet per mile /2 steps per mile = 2,640 steps to walk a mile.

it all depends the lenght of your steps and if you can keep it steady,,,,all you have to do is measure your step and divide that into the mile,,,example 5280 for amile divide by your step say 2 feet equals2190 steps,,it could be more as your steps might be less as you go along,,this is a rough idea for you

It depends upon your stride length which is not completely determined by your height. I'm 6'-3" and my stride is @ 3'. Therefore it will take me 1,760 steps to cover a mile.

It has nothing to do with how tall you are it depends on you stride. For example I have a 30 inch stride so for me it is about 2100 steps
