When I log in using AOL I can't do web searches and check my stocks and things like that, but if I use Firefox for internet I can log into AOL that away, I can get my stocks and check my emails and do searches. I also can't use Itunes also. Some web pages I can't open additional pages but others I can? My firewall is set to the default settings. What am I doing wrong?

You might want to look further into the settings of your firewall. If it is blocking programs like AOL and iTunes, then it might just be that the security software doesn't trust those programs and wont let them have an internet connection.
