how do you go about doing a paper presentations?

i mean i have seen people just doing a cut , copy , paste from some site at the net and stil getting selected at presenting it ... is it then called a review...... please help me out and what i have to actually do. i.e if i haven't done any kind of reseach on it at all

Just copying and pasting is not doing your own work. You need to choose a topic and then write your own findings using the information that you find as reference. You must give credit to the sources on your works cited page.
You will need to do research.
