Why does he go on preaching about helping the environment if he uses 20 times the amount of fossil fuels as the next guy? His defense was that he gives, like, half of his income to this company that does things to help the environment. That's supposed to make up for that? The damage is already done. He can't undo the amount of energy he wastes by giving money. Oh, and here's where it gets interesting. He owns the company he gives money to! He's paying himself! He is a scum, in my opinion. I used to like him. Where does he get off?

I'm not saying that I'm a saint either, Fred R. I'm just saying that if he's making all of those speeches, then he should follow his own advice.

Conerning Gore, I know his lifestyle is not as minimalist like mine.

He is BY FAR not perfect. But who in the US is ? your cars are by far more polluting than the chinese ones.

Don't hold Gore to such a tight standard as this CO2 problem doesn't exist. He is trying to convenes u to just send money and collect for a problem that the plants and trees have already taken care of. Don't be flimflam-ed.
