Girl: Jessamyn Kyleigh is my favorite. I have had Jessamyn picked out for many years, and it is coming up to the top 100 now.
Boy: Brendan is what I named my son 19 yrs ago and it has now reached the top 100. I like: Kyle, Kevin & Keith for twins, Brent.
Ashleigh/Ashley is what I picked out about 25 years ago and others told me yuck. Now it is #1. Don't use anything that is real close to top 10, because it gets overused and too many in school when child is young. Ok if farther down the list. Take any old fashioned name and spell it a different way, that is fashionable. Put on the end an lie, lee, or leigh, that's what is popular.
Kylie, Kylee, Kyleigh, Hailey, Hailee, Haleigh
You should give us names of father, mother, grandparents, that you would want remembered. We can come up with something to include them, maybe. Let us know what you decide.

I've always liked Matthew for a boy. It's classic and not as repetitive as Adam or some name like that.
For girls, I have trouble deciding. The names I like usually are Anne (or Ann) and Shelby or Bailey.
Good luck narrowing it!
Also, try working in family names or naming your child after a relative (dead or alive). It continues a legacy, plus can be used as a first or middle name.

there are lots of names I like, mostly all traditional names...for boys I like Colby Shaun, Cameron Kyle, Hunter Michael and Tyler Blake. I named my own son Andrew Kyle, and we call him Drew.
For girls I like Molly Jane, Courtney Nicole (the name I had picked if I had a girl) and Julia Rose. My cousins picked names for their girls that were unisex, so they didn't have to pick different names for a boy or a girl. They named them Jamie and Randi, but I don't know what their middle names are. When considering names for your baby you can look to both sides of the family, naming them after someone special. Also consider your ethnic and cultural backgrounds and pick a name that reflects one or both. Good luck!

Madison (Maddy for short) or Kairi (Japanese for ocean village) for a girl.
Hunter or Chase for a boy
I am also due in July, July 18th but I know the sex its a girl. I can't decide though. I like hawaiian names like Kailea which means babydoll. I think its cute.
it is hard though. good luck. :)

i didnt name either of my kids until after they were born, one left the hospital with no name, but the first wasnt finalised either. Anyway it took a whole lot of crazy i mean i sifted through my dreams and my thoughts, and basically where i was at, i offered my partner my suggestions and... well the first was more my decision, but if he had any problems with the names he would let me know.... so for our first, boy we called him Connor Aidan (the spelling took a while to figure out i didnt seem to like "e" i'd rather "ai".. although thinking about it what's wrong with "ae"? anyway, Connor was "or" because "e" didnt serve it... and it just balanced better)
i know this is probably a lot of reading but it was a lot to find names that i could handle having to think i would have to call them for the rest of my life...... if you dont like the sound of it.. then that is no good.
Now we have a 6month old girl and we called her Keira Paige, girls name was harder for me.
i also really liked Nikita but wasn't sure about a name to fit and running out of time to register her. Chloe, although popular is nice, Raven.. i wanted something a little different and not too weird, oh my partner wouldnt let me have Akaisha Rose, i couldnt think of anything else to go with Akaisha, it just sounds nice, i thnk he said it was like calling her flower flower.. lol.. although to me it was more akaishic but nevermind, that was another name, Rose..and Emily (-Rose)
Boys i can only think of Kody, or Lachlan, but if we have another boy i think we've decided on Lucius Kane, or Lucian Kane, Kane is definite and if not first name, then Lucius (-Kane works better together, but Lucian alone sounds nicer?)
I think if it helps to start with names that you really dont like and try to think of other names.... it felt like forever trying to decide on a name, probably because i was the only serious one half the time!
Hope I could help a little, also Phoenix is nice but didnt know how to use it, Dakota, Indiana, Montana.
Have you tried looking up meanings and matching a name, or origin?

My husband and I have tried to stick with names in relation to our last name, which happens to be Irish. (We have two sons, Corey and Devin, and a daughter Leanne). Would that help narrow it down?
Some other names I like:
Girls: Leora Dawn, Chelsea, Renee, Tori
Boys: Justin, Caleb, Connor, William
