Only 4 points from the last 4 games, including last weekend's 3-0 loss against Q of S: do you think St Johnstone can now catch them, being only 10 points behind with 2 games in hand (Sat 3 pm)?

It will be tight, the big game will be when the two meet, st johnstone have two games in hand BUT gretna have the points in the bag, it will be close but i would rather see st johnstone go up because they have a decent stadium and at least they will have fans at there game's (JUST) its been a good fairy tale from gretna but jeez the town has a population of 2000, infact its a village, to me i find that embarrassing for such a place to be in the SPL but i think they will make it ahead of st johnstone

Saints will only make it if they stop throwing stuipid points away like on Saturday against Ross County,. This is not the first time they have failed to capitalise on chances to close the gap, we will win our two games in hand, beat Gretna, but even then we are so far behind in goal difference that unless Gretna stumble again, it looks like we will just need to win the Scottish Cup and use that as the springboard for next years assault on the title!!

Yep agree..Gretna deserve to go up however St Johnstone have shown that they can compete in the SPL however I dont like them as they only have one song and the famous Dundee Football Club pumped them again not long ago ;-)

I had a bet at the beginning of the season that St Johnstone will win their league, sadly I chose them alongside Rangers, Chelsea and Birmingham to win theirs. I am sure that all 3 will be in the top 2 of their respective leagues but sadly not all will be winners. I was on to a right few bob if they had all won

Gretna deserve to go up on merit, regardless if they do not fit the SPL criteria. They have proven that they can compete and I hope they win the first division..My money was on Dundee however thats not going to happen now.

They can catch them but I don't think they will. Gretna will still win it.

That a special bet you had there Jayfire ? All the teams you chose wear blue !

It may well have but I don't see who can challenge them next season if St.Johnstone go up.

I'd love to say Dundee but I won't mean it.

We just can't put a run together
