last time, i had a really bad headache. ok, first it started out as dizziness. Then, I couldn't see. it was really weird like a part of my pupil was gone or something. i had no peripheral vision. Then, my hand and around my mouth started getting numb. i was really scared. and then, i started getting really nauseous. and what was worse was i wasn't at home. i was at my academy and we were taking a mock SAT score. so when i got my score i did really bad. i just didn't care, i was really sick. so, my question is , is it a migraine? How would you diagnose this? it happened once before and it happened like 5 times to my brother.

Well, I am not a doctor but can tell you from my holistic health knowledge that it could be migraine or a panic attack. I would suggest you not to worry too much and seek a medical help when and if it recurs.

In the meantime, keep Rescue Remedy (Bach Flower Essence mixture) either as liquid or as a spray with you and at the first sign of trouble, take it in (if it is liquid) and rub it on or spray it on your painful areas.

Reiki will also help you and whenever you need, just ask for it and it comes to you. A free gift from me.

What you described sounds like what is called an ocular migraine or migraine with aura. Here is some information on this type of migraine:

Signs and symptoms include:
Shimmering spots or stars
Zigzag lines that gradually float across your field of vision
Loss of vision in one eye
Blurred vision
Blind spots (scotomas)
Objects in your surroundings that appear as if they are shimmering in heat
Flashes of light
Other types of sensations may accompany the visual disturbances, including:
Feelings of numbness
Tingling in parts of your body
Dizziness (vertigo)

The nausea would come with the dizziness.
Common migraine triggers include:

Stress or anxiety
Certain foods, such as aged cheese, red wine, caffeine, chocolate and others
Fatigue
Certain medications, such as birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy
A sensory stimulus, such as bright lights or strong odors

I am not going to diagnose this but I urge you to consult a neurologist who will order an EEG, a brain tomography and or a Magnetic Resonance Scan. In the meantime take OTC meds for pain relief. DO NOT WAIT with this.

Have you measured your blood pressure? It could be low. Numbness of face is the sign of bad circulation of blood in your head.
It could be from different reasons:
---Low blood pressure
---stressing yourself, holding your breath for a long time
---Breathing in a crowded room air (When not ventilated), lack of Oxygen which is the most important to your brain cells
---Low Hemoglobin in your blood
---Having alcohol, for some two or three following days, and having stopped it.
---Prediabetes problems, when exceeding, and alternatively decreasing your sugar intake, as for example, having a lot of coke, which is full of sugars, and then not having pops the next week.
If your Blood pressure is low, you have to take a horizontal posture when that happens, and raise your legs above the level of your head, to allow your brain circulation to normalize, if not you can have some damage to your brain.
